Cracked Porcelain is a compilation of poetry spanning 1996-2002. The poems are mostly dark, and have been my therapy as I have struggled with depression, suicide, abuse, rape and self-injury. Needless to say, these poems are unsuitable for younger readers, and some contain language readers may find offensive.
It is also a fundraiser, being sold to raise money for the Sexual Assault/Rape Crisis Centre of Peel, which services the cities in Peel (Mississauga, Brampton, Etobicoke etc.). Each book sold will mean $1.50 US for the centre.
The book contains 95 poems selected from my writings, and spanning 130 pages in length (standard size paper). The poems tentatively scheduled for inclusion in the book are listed below. The book is being printed on standard size paper and bound with cardstock covers and spiral ring binding. I am doing this at a local print shop, and thus, this project is very personal. You will also be getting the satisfaction of helping an important cause.
